More than 50 people attended the first ever Shabbat Resouled service at Finchley Progressive Synagogue. The atmosphere was electric and the musicians and singers lead the community through the prayers with Rabbi Neil Janes as shaliach tzibbur (prayer leader).

The siddur which was prepared specifically for the service contained some explanations of the service and transliteration – so that anyone, regardless of Hebrew ability could join in.

After the service there was a great sense of community spirit and people stayed chatting and talking after kiddush.

The next service is on May 18th 2007, 6:30pm.
